When I think of the home study process, I think of how imperative it is for the evaluator to be thorough. The value of a child's life demands a very comprehensive vetting. We knew that the home study process would require effort from us in terms of collecting information and providing detailed responses. What we were really thankful for was that because of being given clear instructions in the first place, we were able to be as efficient as possible during this process. We did not have frustrations of having to repeat steps because of miscommunication or lack of clarity. In the end, we felt like the home study was comprehensive, accurate, and done as efficiently as possible.
